Francis "Frank" Joseph Smith, 70, of Huntsville, AL, passed away Friday, January 13th, 2023.

Mr. Smith is survived by his wife; Lilly Smith, mother; Eugenie Smith, sisters; Margie Hutcheson (Kenny), Pat Rocks, Liz Redding, Katie Gent (Dan), brother; Duffy Smith, nieces; Lora King (Dan), Ginny Daniels (Michael), Allison Hayhurst (Mike), Jennifer Han (John), nephews; Patrick Hutcheson (Sammy), Austin Redding, Nicholas Redding, Matthew Gent, Christopher Gent, Randall Moy, brothers-in-law; Nelson Moy (Pansy), Lipmon Moy (Patty), Lipford Moy (Margaret), great niece; Bailey Hutcheson, Emma King, and great newphew; Hayes Hutcheson, Alex King, Alexander Han (Lex), Elijah Han, Jacob Han.

Frank is preceded by his father; Joseph Smith, brother; Michael Smith, sister; Marianne Smith.

Though his nieces and nephews were not his children, Mr. Smith was over the moon about his nieces and nephews.  He always made a point to be present through the years as they grew up.  He also enjoyed spending time with his yoga group and was an avid golfer.  After 25 dedicated years of employment he retired from Hewlett Packard enterprise.  He was also a dedicated fan to the Auburn Tigers.

The family will receive friends Thursday, January 19th, 2023, from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm.  A memorial service will follow at 4:00 pm in the chapel of Berryhill Funeral Home.
