Obituary

Fred Brantley, 87, of Belvidere, TN, formerly of Huntsville, AL, passed away Sunday.

Mr. Brantley was a US Army veteran that served in the Korean War, and he was a retired captain from the Huntsville Fire Dept.

Survivors include his sons, Micky L. Brantley (Debra), Randall D. Brantley (Theresa), and Jeffrey W. Brantley (Tammy); grandson, Micky Brantley, Jr. (Misty); three granddaughters, Stacia Brantley-Hill (Marcus), Jessica Brantley Peeler (Labron), and Christy Brantley Wiser (Tommy); nine great-grandchildren; brother, Walter Brantley (Diane); two sisters, Annette Stapleton and Sue Dean Copeland (Rucian); a number of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Mr. Brantley was preceded in death by his wife, Florence Helen Hovis Brantley, brother James Brantley, sisters Helen McCulley, Eva Carter, Annie Jones, Dorothy Noles, Evelyn Upton, and Marlee Grove.

Graveside service will be Wednesday, February 27th at 1:00 p.m. at Maple Hill Cemetery with Elder Ricky McElyea officiating.  Berryhill Funeral Home is assisting the family.
