Gail Shawn Jones, 65, earned her wings on June 7, 2024, at her home in Huntsville, Alabama.

Born on May 1, 1959, in Huntsville, Gail's life was a tapestry woven with love, adventure, and compassion. She is preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Georgine Jones of Huntsville, her twin sister, Gaye Bedsaul, and her brother, Tony Warden. Gail leaves behind a legacy of love through her children, Pejhman "PJ" Ehsani of Nashville, Tennessee, and Houman Ehsani of Melbourne, Australia. Her siblings Renee Williams, Catherine Jones Farless, Clyde S. Jones III (Chip), Celia Jones Moore, all of Huntsville, Curtis Scott Jones of Tucson, Arizona, and Beth Mercado of San Antonio, Texas, will forever cherish her memory.

Gail's spirit lives on in her cherished grandchildren: Kaspar (18), Oscar (10), Sophia (6), and Alexander (4), along with her niece Wendy and Wendy's daughter Brittany, who held special places in her heart.

A free spirit, Gail's early years were filled with travels around the world, including living in Africa and visiting her sons in Australia and family in Europe. After her mother's passing, Gail discovered her true calling as a home health caregiver, a role she embraced with passion and dedication until shortly before her passing. Her compassionate nature and unwavering support touched the lives of countless individuals, bringing them comfort and solace in their times of need.

Despite the challenges of distance, Gail remained a devoted grandmother, cherishing every opportunity to connect with her grandchildren, though their separation brought her deep sadness. She found solace and joy in simple pleasures, particularly the color purple, butterflies, and sunsets, appreciating their beauty as a reflection of the human spirit.

A woman of faith, Gail was a member of the Central Church of Christ in Huntsville, where her family has deep roots. She graduated from Madison Academy in Huntsville.

A memorial service celebrating Gail's extraordinary life will be held at 4:00 PM on Saturday, June 15, with visitation from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Berryhill Funeral Home in Huntsville, AL.
