Gayle Daye Gladden, 72, of Huntsville, passed away on October 25, 2025 at Huntsville Hospital Hospice Care. She was a 1972 graduate of Butler High School.

She was preceded in death by her father, James Edward Daye Jr.; mother, Martha Sue Birchfield Raymond; sister, Linda Carol Daye Abbott; and brother, James "Jimmy" Edward Daye III.

She is survived by her husband of 28 years, John Gladden; sons, Cole Baker (Karen) and Ryan Higgins; grandsons, Wade Baker (Amber) and Garrett Baker (Madison); nephew, Jamie Ahlander; niece, Elizabeth "Muffy" Abbott; and five great-grandchildren.

There will be a graveside service on Tuesday, October 28th, beginning at 11:00 A.M. at Pleasmont Baptist Church Cemetery.
