In true George Kozub fashion, he wanted to write his own obituary, apparently as a resume for his next position in this universe.

To those who knew him, he was an athlete, an engineer, a brainiac, a builder of anything & everything and a complicated man. Our mother brought the best out of him and when she passed, a part of him went with her. However, just as she would have wanted, he carried on and focused on serving at church and being a proud grandfather.

Army Ballistic Missile Agency 1959-1960 Satellite Tracking Station

NASA Marshall Space Flight Center 1960-1964 Manager Satellite Tracking Station. Tracked Satellite Data Verifying and Establishing The Van Allen Radiation Belts.

1964 - 1990 Various technical positions in the Engineering Field. Tracked and recovered the first Pegasus Satellite deployment data on the British West Indies Island of Antigua. Tracked all Saturn Development Flights from various NASA Facilities. Data Manager Huntsville Operations Support Center for Space Shuttle Flights.

1990-2000 Served as Staff Member for the MSFC Director Science & Engineering.

2000-2004 Staff Member Systems Management Office

Graveside service will be Saturday, August 29th at 11:00 AM at Maple Hill Cemetery. Berryhill Funeral Home is assisting the family.
