Georgette Ann Shelton, 82, of Toney, passed away February 19, 2026.

She was preceded in death by her husband Jimmy Shelton Sr.

She is survived by her children, Jimmy Shelton, Jr. (Teresa; Desmond Shelton (Valeria); grandchildren, Matthew Shelton (Laura), Jon Shelton, Kryshna Edwards (Randall), Jasmine Shelton, Natalie Giles (Robin), Caleb Justice, Angus Stubbs (Christina), and Samantha Bailey (David); great-grandchildren, Ava, Keymoni, Inaya, Ariel, Piper, Rose, Destiny, Dallas, Kaylei and Colt.

The family wishes to express their heartfelt appreciation to the nurses, aides, and staff at Gentiva Hospice for their compassionate and attentive care, their kindness, patience, and gentle support brought comfort and peace during a difficult time, and we are deeply grateful.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to New Leash on Life or Kids to love, two organizations close to the family's heart.

When you say goodbye to your parents, you lose an identity , a place in the world . When the people who put yu on this earth are no longer here, it changes everything.

Look after yourself the way they looked after you, and listen out for them when you need it the most.

They never really leave.

Visitation will be Wednesday, February 25th from 5:00 -  7:00 PM at Berryhill Funeral Home.
