Gerardine B. Howard, 78, of Toney, Alabama, passed away on July 4, 2026. Born in Indianola, MS, on August 18, 1947, to her late parents Carmelo and Rosalie Bianca. She retired in 2009 from the University of Alabama in Huntsville's Financial Aid Department. She was a long-time member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Her family will remember her for her strong Catholic faith, her love of Christmas traditions, and her sense of humor.

Gerardine is survived by her husband of 48 years, Terry Howard, her daughter, Lisa Horton (Jeff), and many cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her brothers, Carmelo Bianca and Damian Bianca, her sisters, Rosemary Sabbationi, Carolyn Ray and Patrica Babiak.

A funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at Berryhill Funeral Home, officiated by Father Bryan Lowe, with burial following at Huntsville Memory Garden Cemetery. The family will welcome guests on Saturday, July 11th, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Pallbearers include Christopher Borgozs, Matthew Rizzio, Nick Horton, Josh Horton, Jonathan Bianca, Patrick Bianca.
