Gregory Keller Usrey, 59, of Hazel Green, passed away Saturday, December 5th.

Greg was a native of Portsmouth, Virginia and a resident of Madison County for over 50 years. He attended the Church of God of Prophecy. Mr. Usrey was a commander of VFW Post 2702, and later served as VFW State Commander, he was also a member of the American Legion Post 237.

He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara B. Usrey; sons, Michael Harris (Mary Ann), Donald Harris (Jessica), and Brandon Usrey; brother, Kevin Usrey; sister, Gail Wright (Wayne); grandchildren, Kyle Harris, Anna Belle Marshall (Chris), Brittney Hillis (Austin), and Wyatt Harris; great grandchildren, Easton Harris, Eli McKinney, and Bryleigh Hillis; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Carlin and Lorene Bearden; and a number of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Elizabeth Usrey, brothers, Jim and Billy Usrey.

Visitation will take place on Wednesday, December 9th from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home. A chapel funeral service will follow at 12 p.m. with Reverend Harold St. Clair officiating. Burial will take place at Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
