Helen Smith Bingham, 92, of Huntsville passed away peacefully on Monday, May 5, 2025.

Mrs. Bingham, lovingly known to most as "Ninny", was a devoted and caring wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She never met a stranger, and would do anything to help anyone. She was full of life and love and will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Mrs. Bingham is survived by son, Mike Bingham and his wife, Paula; grandson, Chris Bingham; granddaughter, Elizabeth Bingham Westrich and her husband, Jake; the lights of her life—her three great-granddaughters, Eisley Michaela, Emmie Harris, and Ellie Paulina; niece, Debbie Ardis Gaines (Robert); nephew, Tommy Wilbourn (Debbie); numerous cousins;and best friend, Cathy Shafer.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Harris "Buddy" Bingham; son, Jeffrey Bingham; parents Ardeth and Carlos Smith; and brothers, Carlos Smith, Jr, and Vernon Jeff Smith.

Graveside service will be held at Trenton Cemetery on Friday, May 9th, at 2pm. Family and friends are invited to attend. Berryhill Funeral Home is handling all arrangements.
