Henrietta Berry Bolton, a devoted mother, cherished grandmother, and beloved member of her community, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy filled with love and warmth. Born on October 24, 1935, she was the loving wife of William Ray Bolton and a proud mother to three wonderful children: Karen, Doug, and Jeff.
A graduate of Rineyville High School, Henrietta went on to earn her nursing degree from Drake Technical College, dedicating her life to caring for others. Throughout her life, she exemplified compassion and kindness, traits that she instilled in her family.
Henrietta took great joy in her role as a grandmother, nurturing her eight grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren with unwavering love and support. She cherished every moment spent with them, filling their lives with laughter, delicious meals, and fond memories.
She is survived by her children: Karen Bolton Stinnett and her husband, Mark; Doug Bolton and his wife, Lydia; and Jeff Bolton and his wife, Mary. Her spirit will continue through her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who carry her legacy forward.
She is also survived by her sister Marilyn Cole and her husband Terry; and brother Grover Berry and his wife Adrienne.
Henrietta was preceded in death by her sister, Jane Berry Wise; her brother, Rudolph Berry; her parents, Henry and Ruby Berry; and her husband, Bill Bolton. She found great solace and community in her faith as a devoted member of the United Methodist Church.
In her free time, Henrietta loved to cook and enjoy the outdoors, often water skiing and creating joyful moments with family and friends. Her infectious laughter and caring nature will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege to know her.
As we remember Henrietta, we celebrate a life filled with love, family, and cherished memories. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness and an everlasting impact on those who loved her. May her spirit rest in eternal peace.
