James "Jim" Allen Duffy, Jr.'s, soul was set free on September 25th, 2024, unexpectedly at Huntsville Hospital surrounded by family.
Jim was known as a loving husband, father, grandfather, co-worker and friend. He excelled at his position as a structural and mechanical design engineer for NASA at Marshall Space Flight Center, Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, AL.
He was survived by his wife: Bobbie (née Cole) Duffy; his children: Kayla Range (Connor), Karisa Duffy, and Gregory Duffy; grandchildren: Collins, Quinn, and Lennox Range; his father: James Duffy, Sr. (Lisa); his sisters: Jessica Duffy and Penelope Logsdon (Keegan); nieces Courtney Youngblood, Gabrielle O'Neil, and Ariana Yeargin; great niece and nephew: Magnolia and Gunner Youngblood; service dog in training: Rex and cats: Mia, Tony and Ella.
He was preceded in death by his mother: Barbara Kovacich (Joe), sister: Jacquelyn Duffy; his service dogs: Dexter, Forest, and Macchi.
Jim's charisma, wit, resilience and infectious smile left a lasting impression with everyone he met.
