James Alan Esterly, also known as Jim, passed away on August 27, 2023, in Huntsville, AL, at the age of 68. He was born on August 22, 1955, in Akron, OH, to his father, James Lee Esterly; and his late mother, Ann Esterly.

Jim had a successful career as a machinist for General Motors and was also the proud business owner of Esterlyefx. He was a skilled musician and had a passion for music. Additionally, Jim enjoyed restoring vintage cars, as well as building guitar effects pedals. His dedication to his hobbies was evident in the craftsmanship and attention to detail that he put into his work.

He is survived by his son, Jeremy Esterly; and daughters, Janna White and Jill Esterly.
