James Ronald "Dodie" Graham 83 of Athens, AL gained his place with God on April 5, 2026. Dodie was born on December 16, 1942 in Huntsville, Al to James Rawleigh Graham and Gladys Locke Graham. He graduated from Madison Academy in 1961. Dodie was a member of Chapman Acres church of Christ until their closing. He was a member of Jackson Drive Church of Christ at the time of his passing. He is preceded in death by his parents and one sister Patricia Diane Beck. Survived by his wife of 62 years Carolyn Graham. Four children Karen ( Rick ) George , Bo ( Kathy ) Graham , Chuck ( Colleen ) Graham , Bud ( Christy ) Graham. Two sisters , Kathy Abbott and Jeanne Woody. He has numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Drew Graham , Tyler Graham , Noah George , Peyton Graham , Brodie Graham and Chris Rose.

Visitation will be on Thursday, April 9, 2026 at Berryhill Funeral Home in Huntsville, Al from 12:00 to 2:00. Funeral services immediately after visitation, followed by the burial at Huntsville Memory Gardens.
