James Edward Moore, Sr. departed this life on Friday, May 9th, 2025, after experiencing an ongoing illness which ultimately led to a sudden, intense fight for his life in the Medical Intensive Care Unit of Huntsville Hospital. A true fighter and incarnate Superman who, without question, held strong until finally succumbing to the sweet call of Jesus saying, "WELL DONE!" He fought a GOOD fight and finished his course, leaving a true legacy and an honorable Spiritual blueprint that will definitely never be forgotten.

A celebration of Life for Mr. Moore will be held Saturday, May 17th, 2025, at Berryhill Funeral Home in Huntsville, Alabama. From 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., family and friends will be able to view and connect, followed by a short celebratory service from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the Berryhill Chapel.

The Moore family appreciates all the prayers, texts, and calls from those who contacted out of concern. At this time, there will not be any formal visitation with family. All focus is on Mrs. Moore, and due to circumstance, the family asks for space to process as they endure this difficult time. Please keep the prayer wheel turning, offering continual prayers for the family, especially for Mr. Moore's wife, Leatha, who is currently recovering from two mini-strokes and working to regain complete strength and movement in her left side.
