Obituary

James “Jamie” Michael Pavlik, age 19, passed away on April 7, 2026. Born on February 1, 2007, Jamie lived a life full of energy, passion, and connection that left a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Jamie loved the Lord and always wanted to discuss biblical facts and theology with his Dad and friends. He strived to love and obey Christ. His curiosity and yearning for knowledge about Christianity were ever-growing. His selfless love for his family, friends, and everyone he met was a testament to his faith. Jamie always showed grace towards the people in his life, especially those who needed love and forgiveness.

Jamie was known for his larger-than-life personality and his ability to make friends wherever he went—he truly never met a stranger. His natural charisma and sharp instincts made him a gifted salesman and a shrewd negotiator who loved the thrill of getting a great deal. A true gearhead at heart, Jamie had an uncanny ability to identify the make and model of almost any vehicle at a glance, a talent that amazed friends and family alike.

He had a deep love for travel and adventure, always eager to experience new places and create lasting memories. Whether he was exploring somewhere new, enjoying Chicago-style food, or spending time gaming—especially playing Tarkov with his buddies—Jamie brought enthusiasm and joy to everything he did. A loyal Chicago Bears fan, he cheered for his team with unwavering dedication.

Jamie’s heart was as big as his personality. He was known for his kindness and compassion, often going out of his way to help those in need, including feeding homeless individuals whenever he was approached. His generosity and empathy defined the way he lived his life.

Family meant everything to Jamie. He played an important role in helping his mother raise his younger brother, showing maturity, responsibility, and deep love beyond his years. He was a devoted son, a caring brother, and a proud uncle to Ava. He also shared a special and loving relationship with his girlfriend, Adyn, who meant the world to him.

Jamie attended Huntsville High School and went on to become a janitorial supervisor at Blue Origin, where he was recognized as an exemplary employee. His strong work ethic, leadership, and determination set him apart and earned the respect of those he worked with.

He is survived by his loving parents, Joe Pavlik (Joanna Pavlik) and Sarah Jordan (Mark Hendrix); his brothers, Josiah, Eric, Cameron, and Arturo; step-siblings, Rachel Jinkins and James Jinkins;  his grandmother, Pam Foley (Brian Healy) and his grandparents, Marty and Michelle Pavlik; Niece, Ava, Uncles Luke Ungs and Ethan Eikhoff, and his devoted girlfriend, Aidyn.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Mary Standing Bear, and Grandfather Daniel Potter. He also leaves behind countless friends whose lives he touched with his warmth, humor, and ability to bring people together.

Jamie’s life, though far too short, was filled with purpose, love, and impact. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten by all who knew and loved him. Jamie always showed grace towards those in his life, especially those who needed love and forgiveness.
