Janeane Gayle McCarty, age 81, passed away peacefully in her home early Tuesday, January 16, 2018. A native of West Huntsville, she graduated from Butler High School and went on to receive her degree in Business from the North Alabama College of Commerce. On Aug 7, 1964, she married the love of her life, Tom McCarty. Together, they became Co-Owners of Alpha Marketing. She was an avid lover of her "kitties", reading and spending time with her family.


She is survived by husband of over 53 years, Tom; her sister in-law, Evelyn East; 3 nephews and their wives, Steve and Ibis, Keith and Lisa and Jeff and Lisa East and many nieces and nephews.


Janeane was preceded in death by her parents, Shelby and Jewel Drake and her brother, Billy East.


Funeral services will be held this Friday, January 19 at noon at Berryhill Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the time of the service. Burial will follow at Huntsville Memorial Gardens.
