Janice Layne Clark, 78, of Huntsville, AL, died at Hospice Family Care in Huntsville following a long illness.

She retired from from PPG Corporation.

She is survived by her children, William H. Clark III (Pam) of Lacey's Spring, AL and Scott Lollar Clark of Huntsville, AL; grandchildren, Hathan Clark (Megan) of Thurmont, MD and Brandon Clark (Sarah Beth) of Tuscaloosa, AL; great-grandchildren, Emma Clark, Lucas Clark, and Ava Clark of Thurmont, MD and Jackson Clark, Davis Clark, and Grace Clark of Tuscaloosa, AL; siblings, Kenneth Layne, Charles Layne, Jimmy Layne, and Jay O'Barr; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, William H. Clark, Jr.; parents, Harry Clayborne Layne and Lucille Moore Layne; siblings, Martha Layne League, Carolyn "Anne" Layne Duncan, Claiborn "Pete" Layne, and Billy Allen Layne.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 14th, beginning at 11:00 A.M. at Green Valley Cemetery.
