Jeffrey "Caspar" D. Hale of Harvest, Alabama, passed away unexpectedly but peacefully in his sleep at home on Thursday, November 13, 2025, at the age of 57.

Born on September 17, 1968, in Nuremburg, Germany, Jeff was a lifelong resident of the area. He graduated from J.O. Johnson High School and went on to a long and successful career as an Audio/Visual Architect in support of NASA, where he was respected for his sharp mind, meticulous nature, and dedicated leadership.

Jeff was a man defined by his generous spirit and warm heart, whose enthusiasm was contagious. Outside of his professional life, his true passions lay in his unique hobbies. He was an avid soccer connoisseur, dedicated purveyor of complex board games, an enthusiastic player in disc golf circuits, and spent 25 years as a leader amongst his peers in the SCA, his medieval reenactment group. In all his pursuits, Jeff could be found competing, teaching, and sharing his love for the game or craft.

Above all, Jeff was a devoted family man. He shared 35 loving years of marriage with his beloved wife, Kimberly Hale.

He is survived by his loving wife, Kim; his stubborn son, Kelson, also of Harvest, Alabama; his brother in mischief, John and Stephanie Hale of Corpus Christi, Texas; and his sister whom he spoiled, Jennifer and John Bylina of Bolingbrook, Illinois. He also leaves behind many cherished nieces, nephews, and dear friends. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Jeff was preceded in death by his parents, Emery and Sharon.

Visitation will be held at Berryhill Funeral Home in Huntsville, Alabama, on Friday, November 21, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

A Funeral Service will be held at Berryhill Funeral Home on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at 11:00 a.m.

Interment will follow at Valhalla Memory Gardens in Huntsville, Alabama
