Jeffrey Lynn Evans, age 60, of Huntsville, Alabama, passed away on November 22, 2025.

Jeffrey was a loving and gentle soul who found his greatest joy with a fishing pole in hand. Fishing wasn't just a hobby—it was where he felt most at peace. He was also a talented painter, creating works that reflected his love of life and the beauty around him. For 12 years, Jeffrey shared his life with his devoted girlfriend, Stacey, whose love and companionship meant the world to him. He was the beloved son of Joyce McBride and a cherished brother to Donna, Lisa, and David. Jeffrey was a proud father to his son Jeffrey Evans, daughters Kristina and Nancy, and a loving grandfather to 12 grandchildren, all of whom he adored.

He will be deeply missed by his nieces Sonya Garner (husband David), Mindy White, Misty White, and Emily White, nephews Brandon Evans (wife Stephanie), Justin Evans, Timothy Wilbourn (wife Becky), Christopher Wilbourn, and Micheal Thomas, and uncle Buster McBribe. Jeffrey also leaves behind his faithful dog, Rock, his constant companion and source of joy.

He was preceded in death by his father James Earl Evans, brother James, aunt Rachel, and grandmother Ruby Bell.

Jeffrey's warm heart, easy smile, and love for family will forever remain in the memories of those who knew him. His spirit will live on in every story shared, every laugh remembered, every painting he created, and every peaceful moment spent by the water he loved so much.

Visitation will be Tuesday, November 25th from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Berryhill Funeral Home.
