It is with deep sorrow that the family of Jennifer Sampson Chicone announces her unexpected passing on Sunday, June 15, 2025, at her home in Huntsville, Ala. She was 56.
Jennifer was born on Friday, June 13, 1969, to Virginia L. and Logan M. Sampson II in Farrell, Pa.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her beloved husband, Paul, daughter Jessica (Michael Scales) Meadows and son Logan (Becca Howes and her son Ryan) Liddie in Huntsville, Ala., a sister, Dawn Klinger, in Cullman, Ala. , sisters in law, Helen Sampson in Browns Mills, NJ,
and Rhonda Chicone in Pittsburgh, Pa., nieces Ellen (Alex Popp) Klinger in Sandy Springs, Ga., and Deana (Kyle) O'Meara and their infant son, Lochlan, in Jeanette, Pa., plus her best friends Laura and Tim Wirick and their children Chandler and Collin in Huntsville, Ala., plus extended family including aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Jennifer was preceded in death by her grandparents, Irene and Logan M. Sampson Sr., and Joan and Charlie Vyse, brother, Logan M. Sampson III, and brother in law, Roger Klinger.
Jennifer grew up in New Wilmington, Pa., and graduated from Wilmington Area High School in 1987. After high school, she attended Penn State Cosmetology, and for many years worked as a stylist. Most recently she was employed by Publix. First and foremost, she was a mom. She was a band parent for Jessica and a baseball mom for Logan and his teammates. She loved spending time with her family and especially her children. She and Paul loved to attend car shows and loved their bible study group. Her favorite color was green, like her eyes. She loved going to the beach. Jennifer's favorite teams were the Auburn Tigers and the Pittsburgh Steelers.
A service will take place at Berryhill Funeral Home in Huntsville, AL, with Reverend Mark Johnson officiating on Friday, June 20, 2025, at 4:00 PM. Reverend Johnson also officiated at Jennifer and Paul's wedding in 2021. The family will receive friends from 3:00 - 4:00 PM.
