Jeremy Wayne Greenleaf, on born January 6, 1976, passed away on December 17, 2023.

He is survived by his parents, Josephine and Harold Greenleaf; sister, Jennifer Ford; and brother, John Greenleaf.

Jeremy graduated from high school and joined the United States Army on January 14, 1997 through September 11, 2000, as a Multichannel Transmission Systems Operator-maintainer. After the army, Jeremy obtained an Associates Degree in Computer Science, but soon learned that his passion was helping people and became a Certified Nursing Assistant-Registered. His last job before his untimely death was helping veterans at the Floyd E. "Tut" Fann State Veteran's Home in Huntsville, AL.

Jeremy had a passion for the outdoors and he enjoyed camping on his free weekends. He also enjoyed finding and polishing stones and making jewelry. He was a great cook. He always made his friends and family laugh. We will miss his smile. Jeremy left us much too soon and he will be missed by his family, friends, and fellow veterans.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 21, at the Mount Pleasant Cemetery on Mount Pleasant Road, Altoona, at 2:00PM.
