Jerry Wayne Edge, 64, of Huntsville, passed away Wednesday. Mr. Edge was a native of Tanner and a resident of Madison County for over 60 years. He was a volunteer firefighter with the Hazel Green Volunteer Fire Department.and retired from Cook's Pest Control after many years of service. Mr. Edge was preceded in death by his wife: Irene Edge; brother: Otis Edge; and three sisters: Joyce Taylor, Linda Edge, and Betty Kelly.

He was a loving husband, father and was instrumental in his grandchildren's lives.

Survivors include his daughter: Shannon Bentley; two sons: Larry Edge and Chris Edge; three sisters-in-law, five brothers-in-law, eleven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Vistation will be Saturday from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home. Chapel service will be held Sunday at 1:00 p.m. with Bro. Charles Cater officiating.
