On June 21, 2025, the Lord called his servant Jimmy Pyle, 81 years old, home. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Marcia Pyle; children Jeanine Woods and Jimmy Pyle, Jr. (Barb); brothers Jody Keener and Jon Keener; sister Jinger Dayton; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many other family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Jerry Pyle and Jeffrey Keener, and son-in-law Darryl Woods.

Jim was a Deacon of Wears Chapel Baptist Church, where he taught Sunday School for forty years.

He served in the military, including a tour in Vietnam.  He resided at Floyd E. Tut Fann Veterans' Home.  We wish to express our sincere appreciation to all of the staff for their excellent, loving care.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26, 2025, at Wears Chapel Baptist Church from 1:00 to 2:00 pm.  The service will follow at 2:00 pm with Pastor Timothy Payne officiating and Special friend Rev. James Harrell speaking.  Interment will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery.
