Jo Lynn Reed, age 61, passed away peacefully in her home on September 17th, 2026. She was born on March 17, 1965 to Eugene and Wilma Reed. 

Jo will be remembered for her generous and caring heart, her wonderful sense of humor, devotion to God, and dedication to her family and friends. Jo had a way of making others feel seen, heard, and cared for. She saw the people that the world could easily overlook and she chose to see them, love them, and help them in any way that she was able. 

Jo had many loved ones whom were dubbed as “Jo’s Village”, this beautiful group of people was made up of family, friends, and church members. Jo’s village helped to take care of Jo when she was healthy, but especially in her last days. Each and every one of them were a blessing to Jo and to her family. Thank you for the outpouring of love and support. Jo knew that she was blessed and thanked God for her village everyday. 

Jo wished to have a graveside service which will be held at Gurley Cemetery on Sunday, September 20, 2026 at 3 PM. Pastor Steve Johnson of Maysville Church of Christ will officiate her service. Berryhill Funeral Home is assisting the family.
