" JoAnn Duffie Hannah of Huntsville passed away peacefully on Monday March 17th at the age of 81.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hartwell H Duffie and Louise Sellers Duffie; her husband Ervin Woodrow Hannah Jr.; daughters Belinda Hannah Henley and Cheryl Kay Hannah; and her siblings.

She is survived by her Grandaughter MeriLee Hannah Henley Sharp, grandson Adam Sharp and great grandchildren Wyatt and Everly Sharp.

JoAnn was born and raised in Mobile, Alabama where she met her high school sweetheart and started a family. They relocated to Huntsville, Alabama some years later and continued raising their two daughters Belinda and Kay. She retired from Sharon Johnston Park where she worked as a secretary but was a beautician for many years prior to that. She was committed to helping her community over the years and dedicated her time to both the March of Dimes and the Huntsville chapter of the Jayceette's where she served as President for both. JoAnn loved watching her soap operas, celebrating loved ones and cherished life long friendships.

She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. "
