John G. Miscik

John G. Miscik, born on December 5, 1940, in Pennsylvania, passed away leaving behind a legacy of faith, service, dedication, and love for family.

John was the beloved husband of Janet Miscik, with whom he shared 41 wonderful years of marriage. Their life together was a testament to enduring love, companionship, and devotion.

He was a proud and loving father to John Jr. (Charlotte), Sarah (Ted), David, and Kenny (Melissa). He was also the cherished grandfather of nine grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. John was preceded in death by his beloved son, David, and his grandson, Jake.

John dedicated 29 years of honorable service in the United States Army, proudly serving his country throughout a distinguished military career. Following his retirement from the Army, he continued his service through work with government contracting agencies, primarily in the missile field. A firm believer in lifelong learning, John earned two master's degrees, reflecting his commitment to education and personal achievement.

His Catholic faith was the foundation of his life. John lived his faith through his actions, his service to others, and his unwavering devotion to family. He found great joy in spending time with his children, grandchildren, and extended family, creating memories that will be treasured forever.

John was known for his easy-going demeanor and sense of humor. Whether repairing something around the house, building, fixing, or improving, he approached every task with patience, skill, and determination. Family and friends often relied on him, knowing that if something was broken, John could find a way to fix it.

John will be remembered for his faithful heart, his service to his country, his dedication to learning, his craftsmanship, and above all, his love for his family. His life touched many, and his memory will continue to be a blessing to all who knew and loved him.

A viewing will be held at Berryhill Funeral Home on Tuesday evening, July 7, from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm. Family will welcome visitors on Wednesday, July 8 from 9:00 am to 10:00 am at Holy Spirit Catholic Church prior to funeral services to be held at 10:00 am.

Following the service, John will be laid to rest at Valhalla Memory Gardens Cemetery.
