Josephine Egner Dooley, 92, of Huntsville, Alabama, passed away on Saturday, May 24, 2025.

Mrs. Dooley was a native of Philadelphia, PA  and moved to Huntsville with her husband, Tillman, who was a veteran of the US Air Force.  She worked for the federal government as secretary of the Department of the Navy.  She retired after 39 years as a Chief Registrant for the Training Division of the US Army Corps of Engineers.

Mrs. Dooley is survived by her children, Tillman I.Q. "Tim" Dooley, Jr. (Alesia), Joseph Dooley, and Karen Michele Dooley Skoglund (Robert); son-in-law, Thomas Edward Reynolds; brother, Walter Egner (Valerie); eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a host of other loving family and special friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Tillman I.Q. Dooley, Sr.; mother, Victoria Egner; daughter, Joanne Patricia Reynolds; and brother, Edward Egner (Elizabeth).

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at Berryhill Funeral Home from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. Funeral Mass will Thursday, May 29th at Holy Spirit Catholic Church at 10 AM  Interment will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery.
