Joshua Lee Chandler, age 45, passed away on December 4, 2023, at UAB Hospital surrounded by family and friends.

Josh was born on June 13, 1978, in Huntsville, AL. He was a graduate of Fairview High School and worked at Walker Brothers in Baileyton, AL. Those who were lucky enough to know Josh are feeling a tremendous loss right now. His ability to make people smile and laugh was unparalleled. Josh wasn't wealthy, but he was rich in friends, and to him that was all that mattered. His love for people was unmatched; Josh cared about people, and he made sure they knew how much he loved them. And those closest to Josh made sure he knew how loved he was in return because that's all he ever wanted.

Josh was preceded in death by his mother, Dee Burden; uncle, Danny Burden; and grandparents, Gene and Betty Burden and Robert and Mildred Chandler.

Josh is survived by his father, Robert Lee Chandler (Gail); brother, Jason Chandler; nephews, Jake, Cort, and Rex Chandler; uncles, Wayne and Donnie Burden; aunt, Rebecca Horkman (Scott); cousins, Jessica (Clint) Payne, Danielle (Adam) Brown, Wayne Burden, Donna Burden, Hamilton Burden, Chase Burden, John Ben Burden; and a countless number of friends.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
