Joyce Krenson Bishop, 86, born in Savannah, GA, passed away on Thursday, August 27, 2024, in Huntsville, AL, where she was residing.

A Savannah, GA, resident for 21 years, she was the widow of Randolph James Bishop, a native Savannahian, and is survived by her daughter, Karen Anne Bishop, and son, Randolph "Randy" J. Bishop, Jr. (wife, Christy H. Bishop), of Huntsville, and their two grandchildren, Abigale "Abi" L. Bishop and Randolph J. "R.J" Bishop III; a sister, Linda K. Griffith; and a son, Terry A. Griffith, Jr. (wife, Jennifer B. Griffith), and their two children, Jonah A. Griffith and Micah Z. Griffith of St. Petersburg, FL.

She is also survived by nephew, Walter Randolph "Skibo" Bishop and three children, Jessica B. Baron, Amanda Renee Bishop of Gainesville, GA, and Meagan Mary Bishop of Riverside, CA.; niece, Myra B. Jones (husband, Fran M. Jones) of Odum, GA, and their three children, F. Aaron Jones and Ellen J. Hendrix of Jesup, GA, and Jason Micah Jones of Woodstock, GA; niece, Renee B. Hevlo (husband, John Hevlo) of Peachtree City, GA.; niece-in-law, Annette B. Bishop of Kennesaw, GA, and three children, James Bishop, Christine Bishop and Taylor B. Phillips of Savannah, GA.

She was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Fred Dudley Bishop II, sister-in-law, Joyce S. Bishop, and nephew, Fred Dudley Bishop III of Atlanta, GA.

Mrs. Bishop was a member of Whitesburg Baptist Church in Huntsville.  Due to inclement weather the memorial service will be postponed until November.
