Judy Brightwell Mullins, 78, of Meridianville, a native of Huntsville, passed away April 9, 2026, with her faithful puppy, Trapps, at her bedside.

Judy was a devoted wife, mom, sister, aunt, friend, and MawMaw.; an avid sewist and mother-in-love; an exceptionally intelligent educator; and, most importantly, a God-fearing woman of faith. Judy was adored by her family, friends, and students.  All who knew her treasured her.  To be graced by her presence was a joy.

She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Connie "J.C." Mullins; children, Jeff Mullins and Jon Mullins (Morgan, daughter-in-law); grandchildren, Nathan and Lucy-Grace Mullins; and her sisters, Jane and JoAnn.  She also leaves behind many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members

Visitation will be Monday, April 13th from 12:00 - 2:00 PM at Berryhill Funeral Home, followed by service at 2:00.  Burial will be at Huntsville Memory Gardens.
