Julia Fay Sanders Sharp, 79, went home to be with the Lord on July 15, 2025 while surrounded by her family. She was born to Richard Douglas Sanders and Emma Jean Francis Bell on January 28, 1946, in Huntsville, Alabama.

Julia was preceded in death by both her parents, her brother, Jimmy Ronald Sanders, and her sister, Debra Kay Sanders Simmons.

Survivors include her husband, Donnie Sharp; daughter, Teresa Sharp Halla (Charles); granddaughter, Kelsey Halla Makupson (Mazzan); son, Mark Sharp (Beth Ann); grandson, Chase Sharp (Brittney); great granddaughter, Zelda Anne Sharp; and her brother, Richard Donald Sanders (Betty). She also leaves behind far too many others that she considered family to name everyone.

Whether you called her Julia, Judy, or Fay, she had a deep love for her family, and more importantly, a deep love for the Lord. If you knew her, you simply knew her. No further words would be necessary.

Visitation will take place at Berryhill Funeral Home on July 19th, 2025, at 9:00 A.M., with a Celebration of Life following at 11:00 A.M. The service will also be live-streamed for those who cannot attend. Interment will be at Valhalla Memorial Gardens.
