Julian Durwood Beck "Dub" Born November 24, 1929, in Lockhart Alabama.

Moved to Pensacola Florida at age 7. Married to Winifred Thornson (deceased) for 63 years. Preceded in death by his mother, father, one sister, three brothers and his daughter Felicia Clardy. Survived by his wife Bette J. Demers Beck, his daughter Marlene Johnston (Dave) of Canada, Son Chris Beck (Sylvia) of Pensacola, Five Grandchildren, One Great Grandson, Three Stepdaughters, One Stepson, Sixteen Step Grandchildren and Twenty- Three Step Great Grandchildren.

Dub worked for Wholesale Electronic Supply, All Phase Electric and JSI of Huntsville. He volunteered at the Senior Center Caning Department. Bette asks God for His mercy to the many friends who faithfully called and visited.

Memorial Service will be held at 1:30 pm on May 18, 2025 at Piney Grove Baptist Church 28430 Pinedale Road, Ardmore AL 35739
