Karen Lee Inlow Mathison, 75, of Ridgely, TN died in Madison, AL on February 19, 2026.

She was born in Dyersburg, TN in 1950 to John Benton Inlow and Janie Hilton Wikle and loved dogs, horses, reading, fishing, and Alabama football.  Karen attended Lake County High School in Ridgely, TN before working for the City of Huntsville, AL for nearly 30 years.

Karen was preceded in death by her husband, George Alexander Mathison; her mother, Janie Hilton Wikle; her father, John Benton Inlow; her nephew, Christopher Cody Burks; and her brother, John Sage Inlow.

Karen is survived by her son, John Porter Mathison;  daughter-in-law, Jaime Lynette Mathison; two grandchildren: Jacob Alexander and Ella Claire Mathison; three half-sisters: Beverly Carr, Suzette Boehms, and Johna Burks; nephew James Lee Mathison; and three nieces: Haley McClincy, Lynsi Sanchez, and Lara Hooper.

Visitation will be held at Berryhill Funeral Home and Crematory in Huntsville, AL  from 2:00 - 4:00 PM on Saturday, February 28, 2026, with a memorial service following at 4:00.

The family welcomes those who wish to attend the visitation and memorial service. In lieu of flowers, they request your thoughts and prayers.
