Katherine “Katie” Rivas, 63, passed away peacefully on February 25, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, warmth, and unforgettable joy. She was born on January 31, 1963, and lived a life that touched countless hearts.

Katie was the devoted wife of her beloved husband, Alberto Rivas, with whom she shared 18 beautiful years of marriage. Though they were parted by death for a time, their love endured beyond this life, and she is now reunited with him—together again in peace.

She was a proud and loving mother to her only daughter, Alexis Rivas (22), who carries forward her spirit, strength, and kindness every day. Katie’s love for her daughter was boundless, and it remains a guiding light that will never fade.

One of eight siblings, Katie was deeply cherished by her family and adored by all who had the privilege of knowing her. She had a rare gift for bringing light into every room she entered—her radiant smile and infectious laughter could lift any spirit.

Katie was also a woman of remarkable talent. She had a deep love for the arts and possessed a voice that could only be described as angelic. Whether she was singing, creating, or simply sharing her joy with others, she left an indelible mark on the world around her.

Though she is no longer physically present, her love continues to live on in the hearts of those she touched. Her daughter finds comfort in knowing that her mother and father are together again, watching over her with endless love.
