Kathleen "Kathy" Maurice Grimes, 84 of Huntsville, AL, passed away on Friday, February 21, 2025 at home with her family by her bedside.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend.

Kathy loved her family and loved the Lord. She was a faithful servant of Christ her entire life.

Kathy was preceded in death by her husband, Bill; parents, Robert and Alice Maurice; brothers, John, David, and Robert, Jr. Maurice; and sisters, Phyllis Wissbroecker and Vera Kromer.

She is survived by her sisters, Alice Sorrow and Pat Stevens; daughters, Debbie Morton (Charles) and Darlene Miranne (Mike), Julie Pate (Jim), and Natalie Alvey (Mark); grandchildren, Christina Adams (Chris), Kim Breeden (Jeremy), Aly Olson (Joe), Will Miranne (Candace), Corey Miranne, Eric Pate (Samantha), Jonathan Pate (Amanda), Elizabeth Mathis (Chase), and Austin Alvey; great-grandchildren, Daniel, Sophia, and Max Olson, Madison Adams, Rowan Miranne, Beckham Mathis, Palmer Mathis, Campbell Kate Mathis, Katarina, Aurora and Ryker Pate; along with many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 1st, beginning at 10:30 A.M. at the Southeast Church of the Nazarene (2275 Cecil Ashburn Dr SE, Huntsville, AL. The service will be livestreamed on YouTube.
