Kenneth Eugene Shedd, U.S. Army veteran, passed away unexpectedly on September 19, 2026, at the age of 63, surrounded by loved ones.

Born in Washington, Georgia, Kenneth served in the U. S. Army from 1981 to 2001 as an Artilleryman, Forward Observer, and Recruiter.  Kenneth was always proud of his service to his country, and often talked fondly of his times and adventures while on active duty.

After his service in the U.S. Army, he continued to serve his country in the Civil Service, where he developed many profound friendships while continuing to raise his family who he loved fiercely and deeply.

Kenneth will be remembered for his unwavering faith in the lord, his love of life, his joy in having fun, his happiness in traveling, and the thrill of embarking on all of life’s adventures.

He is survived by his loving wife: Lisa Shedd; his three children: Noah, Richard, and Jennifer, his sister Kay Strand; his grandchildren; and a wide circle of friends and colleagues.

The visitation and service will be held at Berryhill Funeral Home on September 25th, 2026 at the following times:

Visitation: 9:30 am-11:00 am

Service:

11:00 am-12:00 pm

There will be no graveside service.
