Kevin John Helmts, 55, of Hazel Green, beloved son, brother, and father passed away peacefully on Friday, May 19th at his sister's home in Hazel Green, Alabama.

Kevin loved camping, fishing, hunting, kayaking, his dogs, cats, and anything in nature and was an avid gun enthusiast and gamer. He was caring and compassionate to those whose life he touched. He lived life his own way without restraint.

Kevin was preceded in death by his father, Norman Helmts. He is survived by his mother, Donna Gibson; sister, Christie Helmts Berry; daughter, Nicole Helmts; son, Benjamin Helmts; and an aunt, uncle, nephew, nieces and cousins who loved him.

May Kevin John Helmts rest in peace and may God comfort those who mourn him.
