Kim Malone Spencer, 65, of Huntsville AL, passed away peacefully September 13, 2025, surrounded by her family and close friends. After a tenaciously fought battle with lung cancer, over a period of 58 months, she was prayerfully promoted into God's loving arms, hymns sung on this side and joyous shouts of welcoming return on the other. Born on February 25, 1960, Kim devoted her life to creating a warm and nurturing home for her husband and their three children.

Kim adored her family. Her love for her children and grandchildren was unconditional and unyielding, a pure example of God's love. She always did whatever she could to make sure everyone in her home felt welcomed and that they belonged. She enjoyed preparing good food, gardening, sports, and long walks with her dog Bree. She loved music and art, mystery dramas, and Outlander. "God go with ye, Mother."

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Danny Spencer, children: Trent Spencer (Abigail), Travis Spencer (Jenny), and Kaelah Collins (Quentin), eight grandchildren: Ezra, Elias, Melody, Grayson, Wyatt, Riley, Kensley and Enzo, sister Cheryl Bobo (Larry), nephew Justin Bobo (Robyn), niece Julie Gavin (Kyle), sister-in-law Diane Houck (Frank), nephews Trae Houck (Angel) and Jeremy Houck (Trista), brother-in-law Eugene Spencer (Mae), niece Cynthia Ray, nephews Stephen Spencer (Carrie) and Jason Spencer, and other extended family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Ottis Malone and Jimmie Kimbrough Malone.

A celebration of Kim's life will be held on September 17 at Mayfair Church of Christ, with visitation at 12pm, funeral service at 2pm, and burial service to follow at Valhalla Memory Gardens.
