Kimberly Lea Kolle, 51, of Huntsville, passed away on Monday, December 15, 2025.

Kimberly was born on September 03,1974, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. A few years later, her family moved back to Huntsville, Alabama.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Waucile Hodges and Dorothy & Ernest Burdett; parents, Doug Kolle, Lester & Celia Lane; and her, brother, Allen Kolle.

She is survived by her grandfather, Marshall Hodges; stepmother, Marie Kolle; siblings, Rhonda (Gene) Kirk, Niki Lane, Mandy (Justin) Hinshaw, Chris (Jennifer) Tineo, Corey (MJ) Lane, and Daniel Kolle; her children, Austin Kolle, Dakota Kolle, and Joel Bowen; her grandchildren, Konner Kolle and Michael Crane; along with many nieces, nephews, and her sister-in-law, Stacey Kolle.

Kim was well known for her laughter and making others laugh. She had two huge families, the one she was born into, and the one she chose, her AA family. Kim struggled her entire life with sobriety. No matter how many times she fell, she got right back up. Her AA family took her right back every time. They were truly her family. Kim would want anyone struggling with addiction to know to keep coming back, no matter how many times. This was her legacy. Her life ended with her sober, happy, and independent. She loved all of her family and friends fiercely and would fight for any one of them. She would be a shoulder to cry on, and find a way to make them laugh. She'll be remembered for her resilience and determination. Her laughter and love will be missed by so many.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19th, from 2:30-4:00 PM at Berryhill Funeral Home, with a service immediately following. Rev. David Karr will be officiating.
