Lai Thongsy, born in Laos, March 20, 1965, peacefully passed away on May 14, 2025, surrounded by his family.

Despite facing numerous challenges, Lai never wavered in his love for his family or his commitment to living life fully. He was a devoted husband to his wife, Tha and a loving father to his five daughters; Sheena, Sanda, Sally, Sandy and Sarina. He was loved dearly by all 13 of his grandchildren. He is survived by his father Kheua, brother Vath, and his sisters Kham, and Lee. He is preceded by his mother Phanh, and his sister Sai.

He was a man with a genuine passion for cooking, gardening, hunting, and fishing. He was always well-prepared to share an entertaining story or joke.
He made certain that everyone's needs were consistently met. He possessed a unique ability to bring joy to those around him, leaving a lasting impact. His family was his greatest source of pride. His most rewarding role was that of a devoted grandfather.
