Larry Allen Cooper, known to most as Allen, passed away on June 28, 2025 at the age of 54.

If you knew Allen, you loved him.  He had a calm, steady presence and a heart that never ran out of room for the people he loved.  He was honest, hardworking, and deeply devoted to his family and friends.

The pride and joy of his life was his daughter, Kaci Cooper.  He also leaves behind his parents, Larry and Sue Coopeer; brother, Benny (Tracy) Cooper; nieces, Emily (Justin) Hill and Paige (Ethan) Vaughn; nephews, Dalton (Lauren) Cooper and Matthew Gentle; great-nieces: Decklyn and Addalyn Hill and Everly Vaughn; and his bonus son, Devin Ferguson.

Allen was preceded in death by his grandparents, James Roy and Clara Cooper and Bayles and Audrie Davis.  He also leaves behind a big extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, and many close friends.

Allen loved Alabama football, a good laugh, and time spent with the ones who mattered most.  He was the best son, the best brother, the best father anyone could ask for.  His absence leaves a space that can't be filled, but his love and loyalty will never be forgotten.

Visitation will be Monday, June 30th from 5:00 - 8:00 PM at Berryhill Funeral Home.  Service will be Tuesday, July 1st at 11:00 AM in the chapel with Rev. Joe Ventress, Rev. Sam Gulley and Tracy Cooper officiating.  Burial will follow at Green Valley Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Bubba Barley, Jon Bramlett, Heath Brooks, Rusty Anders, Randy Narmore, and Andrew Rawlins.  Michael Davis will serve as honorary pallbearer.

Allen's life was a gift to all who knew him, and his memory will be cherished forever.
