Born on November 28, 1949, in Huntsville, Larry's life was a testament to kindness and dedication, qualities that touched all who were fortunate to know him.

Larry served honorably in the Army Reserve, a period in his life that reflected his deep sense of commitment and patriotism. Beyond his service, he found joy in the simple pleasures of life – fishing by quiet waters, riding his bike through the familiar streets, and spending hours tinkering with cars, an activity that brought out his meticulous and thoughtful spirit.

He was a devoted family man, cherished by his daughter, Heather Broyles, and her husband, Joel. Larry’s love extended warmly to his grandchildren, Cecilia and Kylie Broyles, who brought immense joy to his later years.

Larry was preceded in death by his loving parents, Maxi and Faye Gibson, whose memory he carried in his heart throughout his life.
