Larry Forester May, 77, of Huntsville, passed away Sunday, August 8, 2021 at Huntsville Hospital after a short illness.

He was born June 23, 1944 in Huntsville to Forester and Bessie May.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

Larry was an accomplished musician and singer who sang with many gospel quartets over several decades.  He was also the Minister of Music at Fairview Baptist Church in Limestone County, Carter Grove Baptist Church in Hazel Green, and Pineview Baptist Church in Toney to name a few.

Survivors include his wife, Cynthia Roden May; two sons, Michael L. May and Jason Vassar; two grandchildren, Bethani and Jamie May;  sister, Dianne May Kaylor (Herman); niece, Kimberly Nell Wilkins (Paul); nephew, Kevin Neel (Stacy); four grandnieces and one grandnephew.

Visitation will be Wednesday, August 11th from 12:00 - 2:00 PM at Berryhill Funeral Home followed by the service at 2:00 with Rev. Alan Crawford officiating.  Burial will be at Maple Hill Cemetery.
