Lester Glen Byrd, 93, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully at home with his family on June 20, 2025.

A successful local business owner, he was an active member of the Space City Lions Club and within the local community. He spent his retirement years enjoying his two great-grandchildren and traveling with family and friends.

He is survived by his wife of 74 years, Jo Nell, his daughter Judy Bishop, grandson Scott Johnson and two great-grandchildren, Jackson Johnson and Katherine Johnson.

Visitation will be Tuesday, June 24th from 12:00 - 2:00 PM at Berryhill Funeral Home, followed by service at 2:00 with Shanon Byrd officiating.  Burial will be in Huntsville Memory Gardens.
