Lillie Bennett Frederick, 81, of Huntsville passed away Tuesday at a local hospital. Lillie was a native of Mississippi and a resident of Madison County for over 50 years. She was retired from Chrysler Corp. with 26 years of service, was a member of Huntsville Freewill Baptist Church and volunteered with Huntsville Hospital for many years. Lillie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents: Roy Clifford and Ruby Tallent Bennett; one sister: Geraldine Brown and three brothers: Jimmy Bennett, Jackie Bennett and Jerry Bennett.

Survivors include her husband of 62 years: Buford S. Frederick; two sons: Stephen M. (Pamela Houk Bryant) Frederick and Michael L. (Martha) Frederick; one daughter: Shana F. (Doug) McDougle; six grandchildren: Ryan, Riley, Katharine, Lauren, Emma and Ian; one great-granddaughter: Bianca; honorary granddaughter, Drew; two brothers: Roy Bennett and Junior Bennett; three sisters: Nellie Gault, Etoyl Alred and Pattie Armstrong; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home followed by a Chapel service Saturday at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Allen Crowson officiating. Burial will follow in Charity Cemetery in Hazel Green with Berryhill Funeral Home directing.
