Linda Faye Beard (Brewer) was born September 6th 1939 in Madison County, AL, to James and Cleo Beard. She was the middle child, with sister Peggy Lewis and brother Roger Beard surviving her.

Linda married Jerry Rodney Brewer on November 23rd 1957, and the couple had two daughters who survive them: Carolyn Ann Brown and Jerri Lynn Brewer. After her husband Jerry passed away, Linda was surrounded by the love and care of her family including her one grandchild Michael Lyn Brown, son of Carolyn and her husband Reuben Brown (aka Bucky). She is also survived by step granddaughter Kim Rager and her children Cheyenne and Weston.

Linda was a welcoming and accepting person who would always offer to feed you. Though a stroke later affected her speech, she was always game to join the crowd at holidays, and she enjoyed weekly outings to restaurants with her family.

As her health continued to decline, in accordance with her wishes she was admitted to a hospice facility where she was cared for until her death on January 23rd, 2022. In lieu of gifts or flowers, the family requests interested persons to make a donation in Linda's honor to Huntsville Hospital Foundation, designated to Hospice Family Care at 801 Clinton Ave, Huntsville AL.
