Linda Kross, born December 16, 1935, in Des Moines, Iowa, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and devotion to her family.

Linda was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 45 years, Dennis Kross, and her two sons, Jimmy Liddie and Robert "Bob" Liddie. She is survived by her sons, Jon Liddie (Amy) and David Kross (Rosemary), as well as several cherished grandchildren, including Evan Liddie, Alex Liddie, Pearce Kross, and Tygen Kross.

More than anything, Linda had a unique gift—she made people feel like family. Many have said she was "like a second mother" to them, offering love, wisdom, and a place to belong when they needed it most. She treasured time spent together, creating memories that will be held close for generations. She also had a passion for traveling, a competitive spirit for games like bridge and cribbage, and a well-loved nightly ritual of enjoying wine or hurricanes from Pat O'Brien's.

A devoted fan, Linda proudly supported Auburn and never missed a chance to cheer on Aubie, sharing that enthusiasm with those around her.

Linda will be remembered for her sense of fun, her sharp wit, and the deep love she had for those closest to her. Her presence will be greatly missed and forever remembered.

A private graveside service for the family will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Central United Methodist Church Youth Program in Decatur, Alabama
