Lisa Renee Hargrove McNeill went to be with Jesus on Saturday April 4, 2020.  Visitation is Wednesday, April 8, 2020, 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home, followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. officiated by Pastor Tony Boyles.  Burial will be in Huntsville Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the American Heart Association.

Lisa was born and raised in Madison County and retired from the Madison County Board of Eduction.  Lisa was a faithful Christian who loved to serve through singing in the choir.  Lisa loved her family fiercely. She was often known as "momma bear".  Lisa never met a stranger and had a passion to help and serve others, often when she herself was not well.

She was surrounded by her family when she met Jesus, and we know she is laughing and visiting with her Daddy and many others. We will miss her so much. There are no words that could describe the pain and loss. However, we hold onto the truth that we will be with her again.

She is survived by her husband of almost 40 years, David McNeill, her children, Brandon McNeill, Jeremy and wife Mary McNeill, and Sarah and husband Chase Legear, her mother, Gail Knox, her grandchildren, Brayson McNeill, Elijah McNeill, Davi McNeill, Oak McNeill, Cruz Legear, and Cali Legear. She has left behind countless numbers of friends and people that loved her.
