Evelyn (MaMa EB) sweet soul passed at her home, in the loving care of her family on Friday, February 25, 2022. She graduated from SR Butler High School and retired from US Army Missile Command.

She was preceded in death by her husband, of 64 years, Billy Ray East; mother, Johnnie Enice Porter Williamson; father, CR Williamson; brother, C.R. Williamson, Jr.; sister, Diane Lawler; and grandchild, Samantha East Evans.

Her pride, joy, and legacy were (as she lovingly called them) "My Three Sons", Steve (Ibis), Keith (Lisa K.), and Jeff (Lisa R.) East. Her legacy grew further to 11 grandchildren: Chris, Matt, Liana, Alex, Ben, Austin, Collin, Shelby and Brian East, Keri East Hunter and Samantha East Evans.  Her legacy grew even larger with seven great-grandchildren: Gavin and Khloe Hunter, Dylan, Drake, and Ryan East, Franklin Aurora Evans and Anna Kate.

Evelyn 's deep faith touched everyone by giving freely to others, and taking very little. With Evelyn's love, faith and nurturing, she created a strong and loving family that will carry on to continue touching others by what she had taught and shown them her entire life.  She will be deeply missed by all those she touched, but will leave them with joy in the knowledge that how she lived her life, with love and faith, that this final journey that has taken her home.

Visitation will be Monday, February 28, 2022 from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at Berryhill Funeral Home with services following. Chaplain Joel Shiflett will be officiating.  Burial will be at Huntsville Memory Gardens.
