Mark Andrew Schrimsher, born November 30, 1962, brought light and laughter to everyone he met until his passing. He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Wayne Schrimsher; his mother, Joyce Parham Schrimsher; and his brother, William Michael Schrimsher.

Mark was a devoted family man—a loving husband to his wife, Cindy Schrimsher, and a proud father to his children: Christopher Andrew Schrimsher (with Jenna), David Michael Schrimsher, and William Daniel Turner (with Vanity). He cherished his role as a grandfather to Damarion Turner, Natalie Schrimsher, Brittany Schrimsher, Tiffany Schrimsher, Giovanni Schrimsher, Makenzie Schrimsher, Makari Miller, Dallas Miller, Kayla Turner, and Malik Miller (in heaven). His family was his joy, and he was a steadfast friend to many.

Mark dedicated 32½ years as a pipefitter with Huntsville Utilities Water Department, where his hard work and camaraderie were known. Yet beyond work, he was a man who made people smile. Mark loved to cut up, tell jokes, and bring laughter to any room. Whether on the baseball field coaching at Oak Park or just spending time with friends, he had a gift for making people feel welcome and appreciated.

In his final years, Mark and Cindy managed Chapman Pool in Huntsville, Alabama, where they poured their hearts into creating a community space. Mark truly loved that role, sharing smiles with every family who walked through the gates.

Mark leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and friendship. His memory will live on in every story, every laugh, and every person he touched.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, June 5th, from 4:00-6:00 PM at Berryhill Funeral Home.
